Trending Tracks uses hashtags to harvest data from Twitter, since many people use the #NowPlaying hashtag to communicate to their followers what they're listening to, Trending Tracks analyses that data to produce charts of the most listened to music around the globe.

Simply use #NowPlaying in your tweets and help shape the Trending Tracks of today. We'll be ranking users by their contribution to the site, so be sure to get involved!

Trending Tracks Privacy Policy

Trending Tracks uses the Twitter API to collect and collate details of the latest music trending, and the users who are creating these trends.

This Privacy Policy describes how and when Trending Tracks collects, uses and shares your information when you use our Services. Trending Tracks receives your information through our API. For example, when you, post or receive Tweets via SMS, or access Twitter from an application such as Twitter for Mac, Twitter for Android or TweetDeck. By using Twitter or any of their Services you consent to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this their Privacy Policy. Irrespective of which country you reside in or supply information from, you authorize Twitter to use your information in the United States and any other country where Twitter operates.

Information Collection and Use

We collect any tweets containing the #NowPlaying hashtag, we store details of your tweet and your username.
We will not distribute this information to any third parties and you are able to request removal from our database at any time.
